Academicis were able to find the Walsh schools a head teacher in just four weeks! An interesting opportunity arose at the end of March for two Church of England schools to have a joint head teacher. With the deadline for notice looming, the governing board approached Academicis, who were happy to accept the challenge. Even with the two-week Easter holiday, suitable candidates were encouraged to apply and an experienced head teacher was successfully recruited within the time available, to take up post from September. The governors would have been unable to undertake this exercise without the support of the consultant, who guided them throughout the process in an efficient and sensitive manner. This included communication with candidates and referees, and providing support during and post-interview – a great time-saver for the governing board. MAY 2023
